Print has always been at the heart of TCO, from our beautiful magazines Huck, Little White Lies and Sandwich to our highly crafted and critically acclaimed books on film directors, we have just launched Sofia Coppola: Forever Young by Little White Lies’ very own Hannah Strong).
In parallel with this, leading players in the entertainment industry, including Netflix and Amazon Studios, have been coming to us for our custom publishing which brings the best journalism in TV and Film along with creative execution that’s second to none.
Most recently as well as working on Awards publications for two of this year’s Oscar nominated films – The Lost Daughter and tick, tick… Boom! we made the one-of-a-kind FYC book for Barry Jenkins’ Underground Railroad, which has just won the BAFTA for Best International show in the face of tough competition from Squid Game, Succession and Mare of Easttown. TCO previously had custom publishing commissions from Google, Microsoft, Accenture, size?, Adidas and Unilever.
With TCO’s recent move to a building that in a previous life was the printing press for the Bank of England, now is the perfect time to officially launch our new custom publishing unit – TCO Printworks.
Head of TCO Printworks, Clive Wilson, said;
"I believe that no one can match TCO’s combination of editorial integrity and world-class design. We built Printworks around three pillars: the most premium editorial and creative execution in books and print journalism; a global network of world-class writers, artists and photographers; and thirdly, an entirely original perspective on the stories that emerge from each project."
Simon Baker, TCO London’s Managing Director, said;
“With our editorial and creative network extending across Europe and the US, we offer a truly global perspective, and importantly, are well placed to provide on-the-ground service to both our European and North American clients. TCO’s wider full-service creative offering across insight, design, film, OOH and experience also elevates TCO Printworks beyond print".
TCO Printworks lives and breathes love of cinema. Their artistry, strategic thinking, and work ethic are an added (and essential) bonus. Collaborating with them is an inspiring and wonderful experience.
