Pro ultramarathon runner Aum Gandhi and Josh Mock, co-founder of We Run Uptown, set out on an eye-opening run from New Jersey’s Palisades Interstate Park to the northern tip of Manhattan Island, New York. As leafy trails turn to concrete streets, they reflect on their personal journeys as first-generation immigrants, and the inner strength that comes from putting one foot in front of the other.
